I have a strange love for the weird kitschy kinda things and these little chicks fit the bill perfectly. They are made of chenille pipe cleaner, plastic feet and little beads for eyes. I make up little stories for why anyone would see fit to manufacure such an item. Perhaps persons with disabilities were making these, or some company order a thousand and these were the leftovers. Whatever reaason, these little chenille peeps rock and I bought a dozen of them. I've kept them in a drawer with other weird things for ages and now I drag them out for pictures and I've tossed a few into envelopes for people who have ordered stuff from me.

I mean, really, how can you not smile at the ridiculous cuteness of the chenille peep?
