I haven’t been working on panels or canvas when I have been going out, rather I’ve been working on toned and sealed paper. The paper is 9×12 inches ISH. Today before i left I checked my wet panel carrier to see if they fit, they did not. So I grabbed a pizza box.

Listen, yes I do have a stash of unused pizza boxes from when Papa Gino’s closed. They are great tools for making art. Check your local pizza place to see if they’ll give you one.

Anyway. I folded it up and tossed a handful of tacks into it.

When I was ready to leave I simply tacked the wet pieces into place. The tacks overlap the edges of the wet pieces and keep them in place. This would work for smaller pieces better than these 3 9×12 inch (ish) pieces. But I think I could easily bring 4 pieces home in a pizza box.
