This is a great art journal. I like the lovely colors used through out. Lots of goodness in the ink too.

Journaling About the ugly Stuff
Let's face it the holidays are tough and sometimes you need to journal about the hard stuff. This is a 2 part video about just that. I agree with a lot of what the person has to say, BUT I'm one who covers up a lot of what I write in my journal. though I do that I'm ALWAYS able to recall exactly what was on that page. Maybe it's becuase I'm a visual person and the image hold more memory for me than the words? Who knows, great series of videos:
Happy Holidays
I want to take a minute to wish everyone happy holidays. I hope the season brings you everything you need and some of what you want. Hopefully if you were traveling you got to where you were going safely and the day will be wonderful.
I'm particularly thankful this year., My mother made it through a very intense surgery with flying colors and is now doing well. It's hard to believe only a month ago she was under sedation with her chest cracked open. I've been on the receiving end of some very generous charity both at work and with this blog. For those of you reading this I thank you. I'm additionally thankful for the way the Art Journaling Ning has started out. It doing well and running full steam ahead. I can't wait to see where is goes over these next few months. I suspect that this is just the start for all of us on a crazy art journaling adventure.
I wish you Happy holidays, no matter what holiday you celebrate.
Also I hope Santa brought you everything you needed and wanted. 😛
Happy Holidays
I admit I'm not too much of a holiday person as a baker it's all about the food for me. So as a holiday treat I give you Artistic Biker's video about holiday decorations. That man wields a mean spray can!

I really like how this lady chronicles her life with her art journals.
Video Editing Software and Ning
So Ive outgrown Windoze MovieMaker. Actually I had always thought it sucked giant hairy dust bunnies but it wouldn't let me edit into the format that I wanted for the classes. So I'm looking for something new. I first headed over to cnet read some reviews on video editing software. I was surprised that the corel video studio was higher rated than the adobe software. Mostly becuase of the crashing issues. In their review they said that the Corel was slow, but I'm not noticing that at all. If anything now that I've learned how to use it, it's much faster than MovieMaker.
The other software I'm going to try out is the Adobe video editing software. The only issue with it is that if you don't buy it, the trial version put a watermark on the final video.
I've tried a few others, what have you tried?
